Static sites
Rebuild a static site on every publish by pointing the webhook at your host's deploy hook.
A static site shows new articles by rebuilding. You need no endpoint of your own: most hosts that build from a repository offer a deploy hook, a URL that starts a build when it receives a POST.
Create a deploy hook in your host's build settings. Cloudflare Pages, Vercel, and Netlify all offer one (Netlify calls it a build hook).
Paste its URL into Delivery → Webhook.
Select Send test event. The delivery shows as delivered, and your host starts a build.
SEO for SaaS sends a POST when an article is published, changed, or unpublished. Your host ignores the request body and rebuilds, and the build reads the current articles from the API. The test event starts a build too: it's a real delivery.
Build your sitemap from the sitemap endpoint and the same rebuild keeps its dates right: an article's lastmod moves when the article did, not every time the site is built.
Deploy hooks don't verify signatures, so treat their URLs as secrets: anyone holding one can start a build.
